Hi - today I realized that something is wrong with my computer - I clicked on IE to surf the net and it won't even open. I've had trouble with viruses this summer and you were able to fix my problem. I don't know if something has come back or not - I had to use another computer to even post this message because I can't do a whole lot on my other computer at the moment. I cannot seem to open anything that is a shortcut on my desktop. Where should I start to even find what is wrong with it?

Thanks so much!

My opinion is that you should post back in the malware forum. For this, obviously, you should have some control over your computer.

Can you boot the computer in safe mode? If yes, boot into safe mode with networking and go to the malware forum. You may use the link in my list.
