TDSS - Can it spread to multiple drives?

I have a nasty TDSS infection complete with Brastk and Antivirus 2008 and all the goodies. I copied my important documents off of the drive to a separate system drive I have installed. My question, if I reformat the affected drive and reinstall windows, does that cover me, or will TDSS get passed back somehow? Thank you.
