I have spent days trying to remove this unyeilding malware. I followed all the directions before posting this log. The infamous "Security Warning" background still remains and I'm not even sure if anything esle has really improved on my computer.

Problems that I know of since the appearence of Trojan-Spy.HTML.smithfaud.c:

* Everytime I log onto the internet, the homepage appears as about:black no
matter how many times I change it in "Internet Options" under the Tool bar.

* The blue screen with the Security Warning

* Each time I reboot or turn on the computer a window pops up saying that some
file or other cannot be found--file name usually changes each time
