If anyone can help me as soon as possible I would be eternally grateful.

I've been on my computer all day, but not really even on the web. Suddenly (about 2 hours ago) I click on a picture in one of my files and all of the icons to rotate or expand it have disappeared. Usually something like that would be easy for me to fix until I try to go to my control panel and the icon pictures are all the same thing, the unknown icon where it would usually ask you what program you would use to open it. Except they all work like they're supposed to. Then the details panel on the left side of my files like My Documents and such are missing and then other display pictures on my start menu were suddenly gone. Nothings working like it's supposed too, and things are mysteriously disappearing. I've been trying to find a way to fix the malicious code in my regedit but I don't want to go about it wrong and all the supposedly 'free' regedit fixers really just scan and THEN want me to pay to have it fixed *head desk*

If anyone has any help please hurry *cries* my virus scanners aren't picking up anything and i really don't want my computer to deteriorate any further.

Thank you!

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
