My explorer keeps crashing...

Hey my explorer keeps crashing on me...what leads me to this conclusion is that I can't do anything with the computer, and when I do a hard reset, windows comes back with error with active desktop. Then you clickon the button to restore active desktop.

i got this message:

DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in SHELL32.DLL succedded.

what does this mean? what does this command do exactly?

it reregisters the shell.dll, which is a dynamic link library containing very fundamental processes/functions to the part of the computer you interact with...

did it address your issue?

Hey i have the same error that occurs.

I notice it when I set some media files in a folder to be viewed as Thumbnails.

it still happens after i did the "REGSVR32 /i SHELL32.DLL"
Although i havent rebooted yet. i will soon.
