system restore tab is not there in system properties window

hi friends,


before a week i formatted my system.. now i tried to install all softwares like windows media player and others..
when i tried to install wm player.. it showed me a mess.. "UR SYSTEM RESTORE IS TURNED OFF, PLZ TURN ON".. when i tried to open system restore in system proerties windows.. ther is no system restore tab at all to turn on or turn off...


NOW WAT CAN I DO.. OR WAT SHALL I DO.. PLZ HELP ME IN THIS... :)

Go here and scroll down to Line 278 - left-hand side: http://www.kellys-ko...m/xp_tweaks.htm

Click on that line "Restore/Enable System Restore" and download the reg file "sysrestoreenable.reg"

When file has downloaded, double-click it and click "yes" at the prompt to allow it to make a change in the Registry.

Restart Windows.
