I have a T40 with W2K that stopped seeing available wireless connections. I suspect it has something to do with some IBM software that was installed for a contract I am on. I can plug in a PCMCIA card or ethernet connection fine.

Any suggestions as to what may be blocking access?

Thanks in advance!

Well the first thing I would try is to uninstall the IBM software and see if that is the problem. If it's not then at least you will know.

Thanks, I did end up uninstalling some of the IMB garbage, but in the process I trashed some drivers and had to reinstall pretty much all of the drivers associated with anything having to do with network.

For once IBM extended warranty in Atlanta was helpful.

Thanks for your response!
