i have no idea what to ask for, for christmas. i wanted a mac motherboard. you cant buy them. i wanted a sound card. still may get it. but really i have no idea what to ask for. normally no more than like $300.please, time's running out! any suggestions? any at all.

Up that to $350 and get yourself an Acer or MSi netbook laptop. Great gifts. I'm getting my wife one.

i could...but i kinda already have a computer...and i really want to try to make one, or atleast add on to mine,for the experience...but ill keep it in consideration...any more suggestions? :)

Well if you want to keep it computer orientated get some peripherals to play with things like vinyl or photo digitizers. Some of that stuff is pretty cheap so you can get a couple of new toys.
