I have tried many anti-spyware, anti-malware, anti-virus, and registry cleaner software packages and none can solve my problems. I cannot shut down or restart my computer through Windows XP HE. Windows will close and go to a black screen and the cursor becomes unresponsive but the computer will not shut down or restart. I can hear the computer continuing to process information - like it is hung up trying to complete a process. If I do not manually shut off my computer I get the blue screen of death within 24-48 hours (this happens when I leave the system running). If it takes me longer than a couple minutes to write an email or a post that tab will lose Internet connectivity and I must open up another tab and copy and paste the text. When I open a new tab the Internet pops up immediately so I am not losing my connection - it's more like the tab "timed-out". This happens with both Firefox and IE. I am not sure if these problems are related. Below is the hijackthis and uninstall_list logs. Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom. I have an engineering degree and considered myself computer savvy up until this point. Someone has gotten the better of me and my computer and I need your help!
