:) here's an odd thing.
My hiberfil.sys just leaped up to over 2 gigabytes all of a sudden!
Any ideas ?

:) It's the hibernate option in power settings.

Yes, you have 2GB of RAM and your system went into hibernate mode. :)

I later remembered switching on hibernation.
