Hi all. I am upgrading my wireless router from a Linksys WRT54G to a D-Link DIR-655. When my PC is connected through the Linksys router, I receive an internet connection. However, when I connect the new D-Link router I keep getting told there is no internet connection available. What's worse, even when I try to go directly from my cable modem to the PC, I still get no internet connection.

Effectivley the only way I can connect to the internet is through the Linksys router. Is there something I need to do to COMPLETELY disconnect from the Linksys router so that I can connect to the internet and the new D-Link router?

I have recycled, yadda, yadda. But no luck. Customer service has been no help as of yet.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You have logged into the D-Link and set up your ISP username/password?
