The story goes like this. I love computers. I love software. I love mods/hacks/tricks/projects. I only have a laptop. :-(

I was wondering if someone would help me find parts that fit with each other so i can build my version of a super computer for cheap. My idea was to post what i know i want and what i will be doing and hope some experts can help me out.

What I Do:
-Photoshop CS2
-Multiple OS's
-OSX86 (apple on a typically windows based computer)
-video capture/editing

Stuff i am pretty sure i need:
-4 Gig ram at least
-intel processor (not AMD)
-better than my current 120 GB HDD
-awesome graphics card
-motherboard?

Stuff i am pretty sure i want:
-2 hdmi/dvi HiDef outputs for two 1080p external monitors
-video capture card with component/composite/hdmi/dvi/vga IN
-XP to dual boot with Leopard (OSX86)
-Speed
-Powerfulness
-DvD re-writable drive

Now, from you i want suggestions.

I need a build that features these things plus what i missed in between like power supply, case, cooling...

If anyone can help me with a complete build...

...NOT JUST RANDOM PARTS...

...that would be great.

I do not know ASRock, I have no experience with that brand. The only brands I have used are Gigabyte, Asus, and EVGA. They are the only brands I trust. Sorry I can't help you in this situation. Maybe someone else can help who knows this brand on here. I would stick with the system I configured, but that's just me. It's totally up to you though since it is your system.

Cheers :)

Alright that sounds good. I was just researching and was trying to find a motherboard that worked with osx86 That one you listed is not on the Compatability List . If you get a chance to take a look, could you match one that works with Osx86 that still functions well with the above hardware. I would myself, but i don't know how to match it all up.

Also, if i were to get a separate video capture card, would there be room in the case?

If you can't i understand, but if you could that would be great!

Alright, I did some research on what motherboards would be best with OSx86. I found that this motherboard works best for OSx86
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813121059

I have found other motherboards that are compatible with OSx86, but I could not find them for sale anywhere. I looked on newegg and they are all deactivated items. Sorry I could not help you . Here are the names of the motherboards, you might be able to find them somewhere for sale, who knows.
ASUS P5W DH DELUXE
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3x
GA-P35C-DS3R

To answer your second question, yes there would be enough room to add in a video capture card.

Goodluck with everything!

Cheers :)
