I have a Dell C610. I was using a Netgear 511 card and everything was working fine. I recently bought a Netgearr WN111 Usb adapter. I tried to install it and i lost connection and the wireless icon disappeared from my network connections. I was running WIndows 2000 NT at the time. I had been planning on upgrading to XP Pro, so i went ahead and did that. Everything worked fine again. I tried installing the USB wireless adapter again and the problem came up again. NOw, I can't get it to work again. Not even with the Netgear G card.
I am able to connect via ethernet cable, but not on wireless.

I tried shutting off computer and removing battery and power, then powering up again.

I even re-installed XP.

I went into Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services and made sure that Wireless Zero Configuration had been started.

I don't get it... my Netgear software shows that I can connect just fine with the G card, but I can't access the internet using Firefox or IE and the wireless icon completely disappeared from network connections.
