Google gives false information-PDF-JS

google started giving fales links and information.
I ran a bitdefender in line scan which showed Troj PDF-JS.gen in 2 IE temporary files.
A forum ( not this one)advised to delete these which I did.
However this didnt cure the problem.
I've run skybot S&D, lalvasoft, avg anti virus all came clean.
I then tried Sophos which found a couple of Sus/Spy -B, which were quaranteened and deleted.

Still the same problem, I then made a fateful error by rebooting the pc.
Now I cant oopen IE or Opera browser , all I get is the standard and error had occured message do you want to report it.

Hopefully someone kind soul will help.

Sorry to reply to my own post.
I installed and ran malwarebytes.

This seems to have cured things!
However I wanted to install and try combofix.


this is in my desktop but when I run it I get this meesage

Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file.
You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item


Any Ideas guys
