My computer won't turn on, nothing. No sign of power when I push the power switch and no lights on the motherboard. I am guessing it is the power supply. Is there any way (without swapping another power supply) to verify the power supply is faulty?

I have the following motherboard and case:

GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2H AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
APEVIA X-QPACK-NW-BK/420 Black Aluminum MicroATX Desktop Computer Case 420W Power Supply

If the power supply is dead any recommendations for a replacement? I am also not sure if a standard one will fit in the case.

Thanks.

Nice article dsnette

If you don't have a DMM you can get one for really cheap at Harbor freight Tools (mine was under $4).
