explorer.exe errors

I have a computer that is getting explorer.exe errors every time you boot it up. The error keeps coming until the system runs out of memory and it crashes. I booted up in safe mode no problem and I just booted it in safe mode with networking and there doesn't seem to be any problems there either. Any ideas or suggestions on a fix?? I was going to try and repair with the recovery disk but it is no where to be found!
