Thanks for taking the time. Ok, so after trying to remove the infections below with asquared, my computer now won't let me past the choose user screen, which is particularly strange, as I changed my setting to remove this screen, being the only user of this computer....Just 'user' shows up in normal mode, and 'my name' and 'user' in safe mode. When I click either within about a second it tells me its logging me off, and I remain on that screen.

Yes, I know, I should have removed them in safe mode, but I got complacent, having removed about 10-15 infections with other programs already, all from downloading subtitles, I believe from the site allsubs.com.

The Trojans, one or more of which must be responsible:

Trojan.Antispyware.Antivir64
Trojan.win32.monder!IK
Trogan.downloader.win32.Agent!IK
Trojan.dropper.Agent!IK
Trojan.TDSS!IK

Could someone walk me through repairing my boot startup from the windows XP CD, or do you think I'll need to do a full reinstallation? I've forgotten, does this mean having to reinstall all my programs, and loose text files, and quick launch icons?

Thanks all!
