Hi,
I have the zlob.DNSChanger infecting my system. I found it during a Spybot Search and Destroy scan.

I am running Windows Vista, and I have both AVGFree and the paid version of AdAware on my computer. However, I have been unable to update them for quite some time because I cannot open the internet pages necessary to get updates for either of those programs or Windows automatic updates.

I read your post with instructions about what to do prior to uploading a HijackThis log. Unfortunately, I can only progress to the point of downloading MalWareBytes. When I try to download the program, I get the same “firefox can’t find the server” message despite the fact that I am in your website and can access email websites and the like. This is the same page I get when trying to download any security updates.

I also downloaded and used the FixIEDef program in the self-help post for the zlob infection, but it doesn’t seem to have worked. The log says nothing malicious was found. Spybot is still locating the virus.

I am assuming that all these blocks are due to the infection on my system, so I am posting the HijackThis log in hopes that you can help me delete it or figure out how to get to the update pages and download pages so those programs can do their jobs.
