I seem to have lost several important files from my computer.

My computer had two users on it, one with all my personal files and one without. When I turned it on the user with the personal files had dissappeared. Now my programmes are still in exsistance on the other user but my photos/music/documents are not. I cannot find them anywhere. I have tried using a file recovery programme and while it has recovered several files that have been deleted none are those that are missing, as it were.

Is there any way I can retrieve these files, or are they lost forever? Any help would be much appreciated.

Would a system restore do any good? Assuming that it is turned on...
