I am new to building a pc but then so are LOTS of other people, obviously im no different.

Ive done lots of research on Newegg.com and have come up with a list of parts and wonder if they would fit in the case i got and if they would work together.

CPU: Intel Core Duo 2 E8600 Wolfdale 3.33Ghz LGA 775 65W $269.99

Mobo: eVGA 123-YW-E175-A1 LGA 775 Nvidia nForce 750i SLI ATX $169.99

Video card: eVGA 896-P3-1265-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 895MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI-e 2.0x16 $249.99

Sound Card: Creative 705B08800004 7.1 Channels PCI-e 1x Interface PCI-e Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium $94.99

PSU: COOLMAX CUG-950B 950W ATX 12V V.2.2. SLI Ready Crossfire Ready Modular Active PFC $119.99

RAM: OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB(2x2GB) 240-pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual-Channel OCZ2RPR 10664GK (2) x $78.99 = $157.98

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0GB/s OEM $79.99

Disk Drive: LG Black 6x Blu-ray DVD-ROM 16x DVD-ROM 40x CD-ROM Sata Internal Bluray/HD-DVD-ROM & 16x DVD+R DVD Burner GGC-H20L OEM $119.99

Case: Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower w/25cm Fan $149.99

Cables: Nippon Labs 18" (1.5') SATA II cable with locking latch Model SATA-LO.5-R (2) x $4.99 = $9.98

I need the 2 SATA cables because from i hear OEM products dont come with the them.

So what do you all think? If you believe i need some altercation to some products to get better bang for my buck, please let me know. Thanks.

Your motherboard should provide 2 SATA cables, so buying additional cables shouldn't be necessary.
My only suggestion for your build is to change your PUS to a more reputable brand, such as Seasonic, Silverstone, Corsair or PC P&C.
