I am trying to install a new graphics card. It requires a free six pin connector which I don't have.
Can I retro-fit one or do I need a new power supply?

i think they make adaptures to make a 4 pin molex connector to a 6 pin.

What graphic card are you hooking up, and also the watts of your psu, and also the amps on the 12 v rail. This will determin if you need a new psu .

I'm going to try the adaptor - if that doesn't work I guess it'll be a new power supply...

Just for curiosity sake, what PSU and what GPU are you planning to use?
