When I login normally or try play a game, blue lines start to appear or my screen goes all blurry, it's has got nothing to do with the monitor. My current one is a Nvidia 8400 GS, I tried to rollback my driver but it couldn't find the standard VGA graphic driver, the update that I got from nvidia corp messed up my hardware. My pc only a year old as well.
Even if I wipe my entire hard drive and reinstall vista again the blue lines reappear somehow.

What's the model number of your laptop? I'll see if I can find the proper driver for you.
