Hi,

I am running a Sony Vaio Laptop FGN FE550G with Windows XP Media Center Edition. Over the last three weeks my computer has become increasingly slower.

I'm not sure exactly what information someone would need to help analyze my system, so whoever can help with this, just let me know and I will provide you with whatever information you need.

Any help in correcting this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dustin

<snip>... my computer has become increasingly slower.

Not exactly sure what this means. Compared to... ??? Any other symptoms you could explain?

Have you cleaned out your trash lately and defragged the drive? Use the link in my sig for ATF cleaner... it will clean out your temp files, and other internet trash. Then defrag your C drive.

If you look at task monitor is there some task taking up a lot of Cpu cycles? How many processes are running?

You might even try a System restore to a date when your computer was running "faster", clean out the trash, and defrag it.
