Hello all, first of all I'd like to say that I really like these forums and I hope that somebody will help me with this problem. I have read the tutorial on this site for posting problems. I have run malwarebytes malware program, and I have the Avira personal antivirus. I have already backed up my registry and cleaned my temporary files.

Ok, now for the problem!

I have been receiving the error when trying to browse the C:\ drive (my main drive) on my computer. The exact message says,

"Windows cannot find 'resycled\boot.com'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search."

When searching on the D:\ drive, I recieve:
"resycled\boot.com is not a valid Win32 application.

All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

EDIT:
It appears that I have fixed this problem by browsing this forum extensively.

taking greyknight17's advice, i downloaded Flash Disinfector and i no longer get the error.
If you think it's not fixed it would be awesome if you'd let me no, otherwise thanks anyways!
