my computer crashed monday (kept restarting itself over and over again). somehow the guys in helpdesk made it start, but they said that winlogon notify could not be deleted. I believe they tried killbox, but it didnt help. the only thing they recommended is switch from IE to firefox, which i did.
here is my hijackthis log file:

Hi Anechka

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [tsvcin] C:\WINDOWS\system32\n20050308.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Nsv] C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsvsvc\nsvsvc.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [picsvr] C:\WINDOWS\system32\picsvr\picsvr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [checkrun] c:\windows\system32\elitesmn32.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Iinl] C:\Documents and Settings\Anna Sonkina\Application Data\emia.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [Web Offer] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ezPopStub.exe /UninstPOP2 C:\Program Files\Web Offer

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Please download, install and run this disk cleanup utility called Cleanup version 4.0!
http://downloads.ste...p/CleanUp40.exe
It will get rid of any malware which may be hiding in your temp folders ( a common hiding place). You will also regain a massive amount of disk space. Here is a tutorial which describes its usage:
http://www.bleepingc...tutorial93.html
Check the custom settings to your liking under options, but be sure to delete temporary files and temporary internet files for all user profiles. Also, cleanout the prefetch folder and the recycle bin.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:
C:\Program Files\Web Offer<--Delete the whole folder
Exit Explorer.

If you were unable to find any of the files then please follow these additional instructions:
Download Pocket Killbox and unzip it; save it to your Desktop.
Run killbox and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. For each of the files you could not delete, paste them one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.
The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in whereupon you should answer Yes. Let the system reboot.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\n20050308.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsvsvc\nsvsvc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\picsvr\picsvr.exe
c:\windows\system32\elitesmn32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ezPopStub.exe /UninstPOP2

Reboot as normal.

You have the latest version of VX2. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune....oads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads....org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for [b]Run Find Log
by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!

Hi Anechka

OUt of the files I was supposed to delete in safe mode,
C:\windows\system32\elitesmn32.exe and
C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar[b]
were not there. All I found that looks similar are 2 folders EliteToolbar and EliteSideBar.

I could not run the two online scans because none of them runs in FireFox, and IE was uninstalled from my computer (though all the pop-ups still appear in IE windows).

Lastly, as you can probably see from HJT log that I attach here, some new files have been installed such as AdDestroyer, Virtual Bouncer, Bargains etc.

hijackthis log.

Hi Anechka

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

Download CWShredder (there is a link in my signature), unzip it, and save it on the Desktop. Please do not run it yet, though.

Run CWShredder to fix your CWS problem.

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Click Start > Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, double-click Add or Remove Programs. uninstall the following.
C:\Program Files\AdDestroyer\AdDestroyer.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\VBouncer\VirtualBouncer.exe
C:\Program Files\BullsEye Network\bin\bargains.exe
C:\Program Files\CashBack\bin\cashback.exe
C:\program files\180search assistant\saap.exe

Important Step
1. Go to Start->Run and type "Services.msc" (without quotes) then hit Ok
Scroll down and find the service called:

ZESOFT - Unknown owner
When you find it, double-click on it. In the next window that opens, click the Stop button, then click on properties and under the General Tab, change the Startup Type to Disabled. Now hit Apply and then Ok and close any open windows. If you don´t find this service listed go ahead with the next steps.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items:

Hi Anechka

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Important Step
1. Go to Start->Run and type "Services.msc" (without quotes) then hit Ok
Scroll down and find the service called:

WinTools for IE service (WinToolsSvc)
When you find it, double-click on it. In the next window that opens, click the Stop button, then click on properties and under the General Tab, change the Startup Type to Disabled. Now hit Apply and then Ok and close any open windows. If you don´t find this service listed go ahead with the next steps.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items:
O23 - Service: WinTools for IE service (WinToolsSvc) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools\WToolsS.exe (file missing)
Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

C:\WINDOWS\system\jkqr.exe

Reboot as normal.

Please run the following free, online virus scans.
http://www.pandasoft...n_principal.htm
http://housecall.tre.../start_corp.asp
Please post the logs From Panda virus scan and HJT.logWe will need them to remove previous infections that have left files on your system.
