Background Colors are not displayed

Some colors are not displayed on my screen. Mostly backgrounds and buttons. Pictures are fine it is just the colors of the webpage itself. I have check the setting under IE Tools and none of the boxes are checked on the formatting for IE. I reset the setting for IE and this has not helped either. Not sure what else to do.

try this...right click on a empty spot on your desktop...properties..settings ...what is it set to...
another work around would be to use firefox...you can get it here...
