I'm using Win XP on a Lenovo T61, 1 day after a factory reinstall. Computer is running like new
and no malware as it's out-of-the-box new, but still needs "repair" connection after I suspend.
At present I am letting Windows manage. but have a Belkin wireless; I'm wondering if switching
would help of if it's a setting I don't know about?

Thanks
Jack

What service pack are you running? (right-click My Computer and choose Properties).
This sort of issue was fixed in Service Pack 2.

I am running SP 2 but I think I may have found the problem suggested by some who have unchecked
the IEEE option under wireless networks. I hope this is nothing essential as it seems to do the trick.

Thanks
