My PC has been getting slower and slower so I decided to do a complete reinstall of Windows XP SP3. Not as easy as it sounds. My original disk, the one that came with the PC is an early version of XP with SP1. Now the system will not let me install an old version over the updated updated one. I've tried a number of options without success. Thought I'd hit the jackpot when I found Autostream but for some reason that won't work on my system - keep getting error messages.

I'm sure there is a workaround. Can anyone help. It would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers and best wishes from sunny Melbourne

Boot off the XP Disk. You can then wipe the computer from there.
Sp3 is a separate download later.
