Hi everyone,

I may not be posting this in the proper area...if not, I apologize. My laptop has became very sluggish over the past few months. I am currently using PCTools Spyware Doctor and Uniblue Registry Booster 2 to try to help my problem. When I look at the Windows Task Manager...I've noticed that I have eight different svchost.exe processes running. Is this normal? I have read up on this after noticing how many there were, and think it may be the issue. Is there any way to tell which ones are needed (by PID, User Name, Memory Usage, etc.), or which ones may be ended? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

Scott

Funnily enough... I have 8 myself. Multiple instances of svchost.exe is normal, take a search around the web for it.

My computer is not sluggish.

I have two suggestions for you:
