I looked up the Who Is info on the site I want to purchase: www.DoItWithLove.com. I am a photographer and currently have the .biz. Of course, I want the .com because it's the most popular extension and I want typos to get to me.

When I did the Who Is search, it came up as being owned by GoDaddy. But when I emailed Go Daddy several months ago, they said they could not give out client info. I didn't ask for client info, just wanted to know if the site would be up for purchase because it was going to expire in September 08 and there is and has never been anything on the site. Type it in, you just get the load error. There has never been anything on this site to my knowledge since it was first purchased in 2001.

This empty site has now been renewed and expires in September 2009.

Does anyone know more about domain ownership than me? Has this domain been purchased by some company sitting there waiting for someone like me to come along and pay a huge negotiation fee to purchase it? If so, is there any way around that? I've always went through Doteasy.com and am happy with the prices.

Thanks for any help. This is really a mystery to me.

Why? Gives same info as WhoIs and owner has already been identified. Could have sent OP to http://www.dnsstuff.com/, but also a waste of time for same reason.
