Hi,

I need some help. I'm working on my first built. Got everything from newegg.

First night, i was able to get everything together and booted up the machine. Loaded Vista 64 and it was fine.

Next night, i try to plugged in the LCD on the front panel. Came on and it was fine. I shutdown.

Next time i try to boot up, the machine turns off after 2 or 3 seconds.

I try unplugged different things to see if it changes anything. Nothing.

Finally, I unplugged the 4 pin CPU power and the motherboard stays on. But nothing on the screen. When I plugged the 4 pin back, PC wont boot again.

So right now, the mobo only stays on if the cpu power is disconnected. I tried with a higher wattage power supply, same result.

My built is below:

Q-Pack2 Case
A7GM-S mobo Foxconn
Athlon 64 X2 6000
HD4850
4GB Ram
640GB HD

What could be wrong? the mobo is dead alraedy? THANKS ALL.
