i see a lot of these on this site, but i have a slightly different problem. this occurs at boot up (just after the option to enter setup) and whether i click "ok" or "cancel", nothing happens. it doesn't finish booting up, i am just left staring at a blank screen indefinitely.
obviously i can't run the hijack thing, but does anyone have another idea? i am guessing i am stuck having to take the laptop in, huh?

any and all help is appreciated!

Will the system load in Safe Mode?

Restart the system > repeatedly tap "F8" during startup > at Advanced Option choose Safe Mode with Networking.

Let us know if you are able to reach the desktop.

no such luck. i just get to the black screen with "safe mode" in all four corners. that's when i get the error again. thanks for your help. i will give it a few more days to see if anyone has any other ideas, otherwise i am going to take it in
