My laptop was not running properly. I downloaded avast and it said I had the win32 root gen virus. I moved it to the chest because I could not repair or delete it. It is in my Windows system. I could not create a restore point, open Norton, or run windows update. When I try to run windows update it quickly flashes a window open and closes it right away. I found your site and followed all the steps on removing malware....but I am still unable to do a windows update or send any email.
