Broni.........thanks for the quick assist......i do not have the installation disc for the program.......however, i did 'stumble' on to a solution (by accident)........i bought a replacement HP DVD/CDR burner not long ago....it came with a 'Nero 7 essentials' disc.........just for a 'giggle' i put it in and ran it......son of a gun, it made the 'Showtime' work, it made the 'Nero Express' work......so your Carpe Diem quote has a great clairvoyance aspect to it after all......thanks again.......cheers
