Hello,
Can you tell me what you are doing when you get this error? (E.G. browsing the Internet, using word, playing a game, using a newly installed program, ETc...)
Do not use a registry cleaner as some web sites suggest!
Automated registry cleaners are a bad idea, the can mess up your computer. (some web sites that want you to buy their product suggest that this will fix your issue, it will not)

All i had open was a game site that is a private downloadable game site that i have been on for 3 years and is very safe. This just started like 2 days ago after i downloaded a few movies from LimeWire to which i have deleted that movie and LimeWire. Glad i just tried LimeWire and didnt buy into it. I did a virus scan with my cable network antivirus and it found a virus. It may be connected. We will see. I can assure you it had nothing to do with the game site i run on my puter. I just want to know what this Visual c++ Runtime Library is. Ive never ever seen it the entire time i have used a computer which has been 10 years.
The grass isnt always greener on the other side, but i am one for curiousity on the web lol its a bad vise. But even a paying site for music ,videos and movies has people putting stuff on with viruses. Thats what they did with the movie I downloaded. i dont know if that has anything to do with my issue though.

I think that the root of this issue malware that you have picked up (because your online scanner found infections)
I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a HJT log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.
If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

I am respnding back with this...
I emailed Microsoft about the issue since on the heading of error it say Microsoft. I got back from them a few options to do. One is turning off all my add-ons and just using them when i need them. So far so good.
