fable the lost chapters problem

I installed Fable on my PC and it works great, but when i leave the game i cant start it again unless i erase my profile and save games. The game comes to the part when you're supposed to click the left mouse button and then select profile, but in my case, when I click LMB it just closes the game. Any idea how to fix this?

try re-installing the game, if that doesn't work make sure you arn't holding the ctrl button down.
