Anyone thought about the people still on dial-up (not me, not me!) and the time it takes to load these images? Some images look like pure advertising.
My opinion...for what it's worth. (2 cents? More ? Not less, surely?)

• The posting of images is allowed on the support forums. But we insist on you keeping all images in your posts including the signature down to below 8Kb. This is so that no one has any problems with any of the pictures in peoples posts not showing up. If it is necessary for you to post an image as a graphical means of displaying a problem you may be experiencing then please keep the image below 15Kb.
there is an option for people on a slower connection.
I realise that this takes away some of the bells and whistles from the board for those on a slower connection, but it is a work around until something more permanant can be done.
I could do that, but if you would just check the signature images of the Geek Staff, you'll run across many that are exceeding the 8 KB limit. The individual that had the 127.51 KB rotating graphic signature was also a staff member if I recall correctly.Hi there,
