I had my friend post the following below. Since I couldn't access this site (explanation is in the link/thread below.) Lets just say its been a fun 2-3 days.

Between attempting to resolve this issues I was in the process of entering safe mode when I powered down the computer.
After this occured I was brought to the menu ""We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this." All my options are not working and it keeps going into cycles.
From there I hit F8 and went to other windows advanced options menu:
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA Mode
Last Known Good Config
Directory Services Restore Mode
Debugging Mode
Disable automatic restart on system failure
Start Windows Normally
Reboot
I've tried all of these except for disable automatic restart on system failure and enable VGA mode.
I attempted to get into the BIOS however the password is not working and the only one I found since its Phoenix Technology (Password) - "phoenix"
did not work.
I have the recovery disk/disks and when prompted (Vaio Computer) did not give me the first option to restore original settings the other two choices were to restore everything to factory default and advanced restore... If I didn't have any important files on the computer I would just restore the computer however I hope that there is a way to retrive them.
I've gone through almost all the options I could research so I much appreciate the assisantance. I would also like to donate since for the help and fast response from the previous thread (link above).
Also I did follow the instructions regarding the system restore & ERUNT (I hope this helps)
