HI
Most helpful people in the realm of the wired and wireless world!!

I have a lot of music on an XP machine and would like to transfer to a Vista machine. Is there a way to do this via USB, and do I need any special software??

Thx
Carol

Here ( http://www.windowvis...xp-to-vista-53/ ) you will find an article that deals with transferring files from XP to Vista that includes 1 or 2 USB methods.

If you have a network card on each machine, that would probably be the easiest method though. Read the article I guess, and you can figure out which method you prefer (my method is to burn to DVD (that way I have a backup as well, even though it's time consuming) and then just copy from DVD to new machine.

Hope this helps.
