Here's the deal:

Internet got cut out due to nonpayment.

Somehow tho, my computer still gets connection while my roomate's goes to default *pay your bill* page.

What we're trying to setup is a way for me to host my internet connection to my roomate's PC.

We have our cable modem hooked up to a linksys router that has both of our computers hooked into the linksys router.

When i use the network setup wizard, I choose 'This computer connects directly to the internet. The other computers on my network connect to the internet through this computer."'

i then get Cannot Complete the Network Setup Wizard. Other computers cannot connect to the internet through this computer. In addition to its internet connection, this computer must have a connection to your network.

We've also setup his LAN connection to use my IP as it's host server or w/e (i'm not 100% tech saavy, but i'm good w/directions)

I doubt anyone will help you do this, and probably your thread will soon be locked by Admin. Might be easier to just pay the bill. :)
