My primary display is set up for the laptop, but my laptop display is broken. Now I cannot see my primary display to even click the start button.

How can I switch my external monitor to be the primary display using keystrokes? Or, how can I reset my video settings using keystrokes?

Can anybody help?

Switch the laptop off and plug a standard monitor into the 15 pin blue connector on the laptop. Do not power up the laptop until this is connected. Laptop should now use the external monitor without any further intervention.
