I wanted to resurrect this game and play it again, but I'm having trouble getting it to run on my (new) Vista machine. It installs fine, but when I try to start it up, nothing happens. Sometimes it asks me if I want to allow the program to run, but that's it. Once it asked me if I wanted to run it as an administrator, I said yes and still nothing happened. I found a couple of older threads on here that suggested trying to run it in compatibility mode.... but still nothing happens. I tried installing the expansion pack (Poseidon) to see if it would work any better, but no - it installed fine, but does the same thing when I try to run it - that is to say, nothing.

What can I try next?

Hi, I finally figured out how to install Zeus on Vista and couldn't find the answer anywhere so I thought I would post it here.

It's really simple way to automatically have administrative privileges in order to install. Otherwise nothing will happen.

First, go to the start menu and type: RUN

When the box pops up, click BROWSE, and find the SETUP program on the CD. Click on SETUP. Then click OK. "Task will be created with administrative privileges."

Be sure to restart after setup and you will be playing the game in no time.
