I recently took an exam using a program that takes over the computer and locks me out during the test (ExamSoft). While the exam program was loading, it sparked my CD-burning program (Nero) to try and load something that it wasn't able to complete, which shut down ExamSoft. I took the computer to the on-site techs and they fixed the problem, but now my sound is gone. I've gone through the Windows Help tutorial and nothing seems to be wrong. The speakers still work, as I can hear the dial tone when I use the internet. Any ideas?
