AVG Question

Dont really know if this is the right part of this site for this question if not please re-direct me.

My question is, I have a system scan setup with AVG to run every night at 3 AM. However, I would like to download some things off the web, using LimeWire, and dont want to get a mess of viruses. I wont be downloading any porn or any programs but I will be downloading minimal music and videos so what I would like to do is be able to set up a scan for the file that all the things that are being downloaded into EVERYTIME that the folder is modified.

If it cant be done then I wont be downloading or I'll run scans more often period.
