CD-Rom Missing

I own a relatively old laptop. All at once my CD-Rom quit being recognized. Device Manager lists it with an exclamation point. :)

LG CRN8241b CD-Rom drive




Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) :)


This is a system driver, right? What did I do to cause it to quit? :)
