i have a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1800 . http://www.hauppauge...ta_hvr1800.html

and it has worked great for me in vista for the last 8 months to a year. and yesterday. i messed up the boot loader, and i couldnt repair it using vista dvd, so i ended up reinstalling vista. installed the updates and drivers for everything including the card. Now every time i try to use the tuner either in WMC and in wintv i get a bsod. these are te codes i got.

BCCode: a
BCP1: 0000000000000008
BCP2: 0000000000000002
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: FFFFF800020E05FC
OS Version: 6_0_6000
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1
Server information: bd1a6809-d66b-46f0-9258-9d11ff4fb946

The BSOD could be being caused by the driver you're using, did the machine have SP1 on it before you trashed the boot loader? :)
