Okay... I have two Mp3s... Let's say one is a baby screaming and the other is the theme from The Facts of Life... How could I combine these two files so the music kicks in after the baby screams and save it as a new Mp3? Is there a program that would help?

Audacity is a program that could get the job done.

There should be loads of tutorials on Audacity, however here is a basic outline on what you will be doing;

*NOTE: It probably won't make any sense until you have the files open and you are working hands-on with the program....

Open Audacity
Go to Project > Import
Find and Open file #1
Repeat to Open file #2

Highlight audio you wish to move
Go to Edit > Cut
Select place where the audio should come in
Go to Edit > Paste

Go to File > Export to MP3..

Read up on some tutorials, as there is much MUCH more to the program than cut and paste... Have fun with the effects, and post any questions!
