Hi, I have a similar problem with both World of Warcraft and Guild Wars.

After a while playing either game my screen goes to what looks like standby and my sound goes and I cannot do anything other than restart my computer.

I have quite confident that this is my graphics card doing this, It is a Radeon X700 using the Omega Drivers.

I am fully aware that the problem may also be the Omega Drivers just being plain out of date but I did install them for a reason also, which I am hoping can be solved.

When I pick the recommended drivers for the radeon it gives me the 9.2 version they have that came out 8 days ago. I used Omega's uninstall option, then I used ccleaner to delete the old registries and after a reboot, I installed the 9.2 drivers and again, rebooted.

With these drivers my computer stays on after a restart for about 15-120 seconds before it also gives me a standby screen, regardless of if I am in a game or not. I had to enter safe mode to uninstall them and put the Omega Drivers back on.

Two months ago I would play WoW with the Omega Drivers and I accept that now I may not be able to for some odd reason. But the fact that I cannot even have default drivers is very annoying.

Is there any solution to this problem for either sorting Omega somehow or safely getting the Radeon Drivers on my PC, Or must I begin saving my pennies for a new Graphics Card/PC?
