norton systemworks won't complete virus scan

I have Norton Systemworks 2003 Professional Edition running on my computer. I have Windows XP. When I run the virus scan, it gets bogged down on c:\Program files\Java\JRE15~1.0_0\lib and will not complete the scan. What is this, can I get rid of it? Help.

its a java file. you can either uninstall sun java or run http://www.pandasoftware/activescan to veryify that you don't have a java virus.

Thank you for your reply. I am going to download it and run it. I have not been able to uninstall or delete the file.
