Hi, I have an external hard drive with a folder that stores files in numerical order (addresses - # and street name). When I go into this folder one day, all addresses starting with a 3, for example, are missing. But when I go back a few days later, they are back, with files intact. Things disappear and return with no rhyme or reason. What's the reason for this, and can I stop them from disappearing??
